For iOS users: to install the TaskUs application, go to the AppStore. Enter “TaskUsPlus” in the search bar. Our application is free of charge and should not request card data.

During installation, the application will request access to your geolocation and permission to send notifications. You can cancel the notifications later in your Phone Settings.

After you have installed the application, register or log in. This can be done by creating a username and password.

To use the application, turn on Mobile Data or Wi-Fi. Network connection allows application to identify You and it gives You the possibility to communicate online.

For the webapp: use app.taskus.ee in your browser on your computer or phone. You can browse the platform and see the posted Tasks and our Taskers.

In order to post a Task or become a Tasker, you need to create an account or log in.

Click the button "Log in/ Sign up" on the main page to sign up with TaskUs.

To log in or register with the TaskUs iOS app, please click on the button "Profile" that is in the bottom right corner.

To log in or register with the TaskUs webapp, please click the "Log in / Sign up" button located in the burger menu in the top left corner.

When signing up, you are asked to enter your first and last name. However, for the public, only your first name and the initial of your last name will be shown, along with your profile photo and a schort description.

Your phone number, location and e-mail adress will only be visible to the Tasker you have hired to complete your Task.

We will send a confirmation link to verify your e-mail.This will help us send you important information about the Tasks you have posted.

In order to post a Task, you need to log in or sign up.

Create a Task by pressing the big "+" button. It will be located in the bottom menu (iOS app) or top righthand corner (web users). Pick a category and then post your Task.

Write a short informative title.

In the description, write in detail, what needs to be done. Being specific helps you get exactly what you want and makes it easier for the Taskers to offer you a fair price. If you have a set budget, it is good to add it. Add the date and the location details- when and where should the task be done. Click Publish.

After that, the Taskers will begin to leave offers with prices and contacts to your Task. Carefully study the offers and profiles of the Taskers. You can chat with the Taskers.

NOTE! To assure safety and fairness, we do not allow to post your email, phone number or exact location in the chat.

As soon as you accept the Tasker, you can deposit the payment in the TaskUs system. After you have confirmed the completion on the Task, the deposit will be released to the Tasker.

Please remember rate the Tasker and leave a comment for Task well done!

A Tasker is a person who completes Tasks for the Clients in the TaskUs system. They are independent workers who have an account at TaskUs, just like the Clients.

If you wish to be a Tasker yourself, you can fill out the Become a Tasker form in the app and, once verified, start browsing through Tasks and make offers. Anyone above the age of 16 can become a Tasker.

Verification may take up to 5 bussiness days.

When becoming a Tasker, we need to verify you, to make sure that your identity matches what you say online about yourself. TaskUs will make you a short call to ask you to provide us the copy of your ID card. All the information will be held safe with TaskUs (refer to Privacy Policy). You are given “Verified” badge after identification process. This show’s our clients that you are identified by TaskUs.

Go to the section “Profile” and click on the button “Become a Tasker”.You will need to fill out a form with the categories of the Tasks you are ready to complete. You will receive notifications of all new Tasks posted in your preferred sections.

Also, we ask you to provide you bank details, so we can get paid for the Tasks you have completed.

When becoming a Tasker, we need to verify your identity. TaskUs will contact you to ask you to provide us a copy of your ID card. All your information will be held safe with TaskUs (refer to Privacy Policy). You are given the “Verified” badge after completing the identification process. This will be displayed on your profile for your Clients to see.

To make it easier for your Clients to pick you, make sure to give as much information as you can about your education, completed courses and work experience.

Note! Do not post sensitive contact information in your profile: phone, e-mail, links of third-party sites.

Your portfolio is an important part of your account. Upload photos or videos of your completed Tasks. Do you specialise in apartment cleaning? Show the result of your work with before and after photos (if the Client agrees). Specialized in delivery – upload photos of all things you can help your Clients carry and deliver. Make it fun and informative!

If some of the information you provided is not displayed in your profile, it may still be under review. It usually takes 5 business days. Please wait for our final decision or contact TaskUS support - eesti@taskus.ee.

Found a Task that suits your skillset? Make an offer on it. Carefully read the details of the Task and enter the amount you would like to be paid.

Your offered price should include all the costs including your hourly fee, tools usage, materials (in some occasions), travel to the job or parking. Use the public chat to confirm all details to avoid misunderstandings.

If your offer hasn’t been accepted, you can either update or cancel it. Both buttons will be visible on the specific Task next to your offer.

When the Client has picked the Tasker to complete their Task, both the Client and the Tasker will receive a notification / e-mail from TaskUs with all the details that they have specified for the Task.

Now it is time for the Tasker to complete the Tasked at the time and place they have agreed on. As a Tasker, be on time and be proffesional. Remember, Clients can rate you and give you reviews!

Getting paid for the job “well done” is very important. The easiest and safest way is to request the TaskUs safe deposit from your Clients when you are setting up the details for the Task. TaskUs will release the deposit to your bank account (which you have provided to the TaskUs system when signing up as a Tasker) once you and the Client have confirmed that the Task is completed.

There is also an option for a cash payment. The client will pay you in cash once the Task has been completed.

If the Task is cancelled more than 24h before the set time, the Task will be moved to the finished Tasks folder in your profile and the deposit will be returned to the Client.

In case the Task is cancelled less than 24h before the set time, a cancellation fee of 20% of the payment is applied to the canceling party. An invoice will be sent to the canceller. When the canceller has paid the fee, then the TaskUs system will transfer half of the amount of the cancellation fee to the other party.

We highly recommend communicating early and to not cancel any Tasks. If the Tasker cancels the Task, please let us know immediately at eesti@taskus.ee or call +372 654 8888 to get help finding another Tasker. If you or we are unable to find a new Tasker, we will return your deposit.

TaskUs considers this occasion as a cancellation of the Task.

As a Tasker in the TaskUs system, you can perform Tasks as a company (OÜ, FIE, AS, NPO). You need to create a business profile in the TaskUs platform and let us know whether you are VAT required company or not. This will trigger the system to add the VAT to the services you are offering. When you make an offer on a Task, the full breakdown of the service fee and VAT will be displayed.

The responsibility to declare the taxes to the state is on the Taskers (companies). TaskUs does not take responsibility for any unpaid taxes the users of their platform might have.

TaskUs is created for regular people to get help get their everyday Tasks done and earn extra money.  In order to maintain the platform, we need to keep it safe.

We are not safe from dishonest people and we will keep an eye out for any violation of the rules. After detecting any violation of the system, the violator will be removed from the system for good. We believe in a  fair market and honest people. If you see unusual or dishonest activity on the platform, please report it at eest@taskus.ee or call us at +372 654 8888.

If a Tasker is unable to finish the Task in the previously set timeframe, then the Client can post another Task in the TaskUs system and hire the same Tasker.

If it becomes clear that the Tasker is unable to finish the Task because the Client has not provided the Tasker with appropriate measures (tools, conditions) then the Tasker can cancel the Task. In that case the Tasker is recommended to contact us at eesti@taskus.ee or +372 654 8888.

TaskUs is committed to protecting your privacy.  Your public profile shows only your first name and the initial or your surname, your uploaded photo, the description you provide of yourself and your ratings from other users of TaskUs. Only after assigning a Task to a specific Tasker, will they get your location and phone number.

We don’t recommend sharing private details such as full names, business names and contact details.

TaskUs is a platform dedicated to offer the best service when bringing together regular people who need Tasks done and Taskers who help them. There is a marketing fee in order to maintain the platform, market the Tasks to Taskers to bring them the best opportunities, help with verification, secure payment, improving the technology and support services.

The service fee is re-invested into covering costs mentioned above to create a great experience for both Clients and Taskers.

In Estonia, earnings are taxable from a certain amount set by law. It is each Taskers personal responsibility to declare and pay taxes. TaskUs will not take any responsibility for the unpaid taxes of our users.
